Logo redesign

Looking to redesign law firm logo. Firm does business as "Fair Price Legal." The firm's slogan is "FAIR because it's the right thing to do!" The firm markets itself as an aggressive and experienced firm focused on assisting those who traditionally believe they cannot afford a "high end" representative. The firm is not a budget or low cost office but we offer flexible payment options and utilize technology (teleconferencing, online notarization, online document execution, etc.) to try and keep costs low. The office is a proud "Black-owned" business, and want to redesign logo to reflect purpose and community outlook. The design I am contemplating is: raised fist holding/balancing scales of justice. I do not want the logo to appear cheesy but reflect professionalism, strength, high quality, and pride in the design. The present logo we have does not "say" anything.
