Logo for my law practice, business card format and letterhead

I am looking to elevate this logo, make it more striking and memorable for my brand (solo practitioner) and make it more in line with a law practice in Australia. I am seeking originality, and to be compliant with Australian standards (no breach of IP).
Ideally the top letters ( M A ) need to be worked on a bit. I need 2-3 ideas, and final execution of the package.
