Logo design for women in tech brand and on going work in future
Budget: £10 – £50 GBP
We are looking for a designer who has previous experience with branding digital and professional IT/computing businesses to produce a logo for our brand.
We are a professional blog (run by two young and successful women in tech) that provides a source of information, advice, and a community for ambitious women who work or aspire to work in the tech industry.
We teach women how to leverage their soft skills to become successful in the tech industry, either upon graduating, finishing school, or going through a career transition.
Our business name is Verve Women, which can be shortened to Verve or even V for logo purposes. We quite like the idea of using the ‘V’ for Verve in our logo, as it is a symbolic feminine symbol, and is also arrow-like but this is not critical. It's more important to be striking, simple, clean and scalable for social media.
We would sum up the business and the brand with the following words: Verve (meaning energy and enthusiasm), ambition, knowledgeable, inclusive and growth.
We are quite linear with our brief and want it exactly how we state below.
We would require the following:
Familiar with branding and logos for a purpose i.e. colours and design to maximise engagement on social media and our future blog.
The logo has to fit across all social media profile pictures and look correct, we have the colours we like and want (#D1D3CF, #757081, #6C4F70, #39324B, #A98AAD
#839ECB, #E0E1DF).
We expect 3-5 logos to pick from, and a sub mark version of the logo.
We require people to be fluent in english.
We need to be provided with PSD, EPS vectors, SVG files of the work
- PNG’s (transparent backgrounds)
- JPEG’s (For print and digital)
- EPS (The raw and editable logos)
- SVG (Best format for web)
We will also be posting ongoing work in the form of social media posts, website branding and blog.
Email marketing in html (dynamic email content) maybe once or twice a month to start with.
We are looking to build a relationship with a designer for ongoing future work,
I am from a design background and understand timescales and what to expect for the time and price we have posted for.
We would like a turnaround on the work of 7 days but obviously we understand good people will be busy so we are prepared to wait until able to complete.
What is important is that we are updated every step of the way ( i.e. send us the progress and we can advise and change things on the fly).We prefer this method as we do not want someone to finish the product and it is not what we want. We feel this works for both us and yourself.
Included in the rate we'd like the option of at least one round of revision on the best logo.
