Logo Revitalization for New Company

I have an old logo that needs some minor adjustments to fit the mold for my new company. The general idea and main symbol or image of the logo should remain the same. I want the changes to focus on the color scheme and font style, which should be in line with the new brand identity. I have something specific in mind.

Key Requirements:
- Retain the essence of the existing logo while updating it for the new company
- Make minor adjustments to the color scheme and font style
- Ensure the revised logo aligns with the new brand identity of the company

Ideal Freelancer:
- Experienced graphic designer with a strong portfolio of logo design
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and/or other graphic design tools
- Ability to translate branding requirements into visual elements
- Excellent understanding of color theory and typography
- Good communication skills to understand and implement my specific changes in mind for the color scheme, font style, and main symbol/image
