Logo Redesign from Original Drawing

I have a drawing of a logo, and would like it turned into a logo. I need black background/white background/transparent background variations.
The logo will need to be different than the drawing, in a few different ways - I will advise what bits need to be changed.
This will not be difficult for someone that knows what they're doing.
Your next steps:
1) Please explain to me how you plan to meet the requirements of this position and why you are the right candidate for the job, including specific examples relating to this job, and also any training or schooling you may have had that relate to the tasks mentioned above.
2) Then we will inspect your proposal and compare it with others.
3) If you are successful, I will supply a photo of the original drawing.
Additionals:
- Areas of expertise: photoshop, etc.
- Expectation: I want the logo to be clear and perfect.
- Time to complete: ASAP.
