Launching an effective YouTube channel
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
My wife and I (a board certified coach/certified therapist and me, a psychiatrist) need technical assistance launching a YouTube channel. My wife, Petra, is an accomplished public speaker (in addition to being charming, funny, attractive and insightful) and is taking this project on in order to help market our practice in Rancho Mirage, CA.
She has been producing two videos a week for the past several months so she will have a backlog of material. My judgement of her potential for success, based on reviewing the videos of the YouTube leaders in the therapy field, is that she is very likely to be quite successful. I believe she is as good as the best! Perhaps I'm not completely objective, but if you review a couple of her videos, I'm pretty sure you will agree. At a minimum, she is very likely to at least end up being monetized, even though this is not the purpose of the channel. We have a substantial cash practice, which is our focus for income.
I will make some "guest appearances" and do a few videos on my own, but she is the real talent. I've taken on the technical support role in this project, but I lack the expertise needed to fully compliment her skills. Basically, we've got our ducks pretty much lined up in a row but soon we need to get this flock into the air! Fortunately, I I have some of the basics covered. I have done a fair amount of video shooting and editing, I am Photoshop competent, and I am using Power Director for the video editing. I designed a number of thumbnails and I have many pictures of Petra to work with. I have put together some nice banner art, I've licensed appropriate music, and designed a YouTube icon that I'm putting the finishing touches on.
I had promised Petra I'd have the channel ready to launch by her birthday (July 8) but without some help, there is no way this is going to happen. And, just getting this thing to fly, won't set her on a course for success. I need help with hash tags, metadata, and many other things I know nothing about. If you have the skillset to compliment what we are doing, and would enjoy assisting us in what I believe will be a very enjoyable, helpful and successful endeavor, I hope you will contact us. By the way, Petra is very budget conscious, so I hope this can be done for a reasonable charge. (If our results are good, she would likely become much more generous!)
If you want a little insight into who I am, you can look up my reviews on Google (Thomas B. Jackson, MD, psychiatrist, Rancho Mirage, CA). Of my nearly 50 reviews, all but one are 5 star (one 4 star), which is, basically, unheard of for a psychiatric practice. And, what patients say about me is very insightful, and will give you some idea of the "team" you will be joining.
This is a project that has the potential to actually help a lot of people and I would certainly hope you will find us really enjoyable to work with. I just saw the place to upload files. I'll send a picture of Petra, which is informative, in its own way. If you are the perfect person to help make this dream a reality for us, please get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you!
