Enhance Basic Logo to be more Professional -- To put on a business card and maybe a letter head

I have a basic logo that I am looking to at least enhance, catch your eye, but still be conservative and not too flashy. I can do this myself, but I wanted the suggestion and see a professionals work. I would like the logo either by its self, or with a small 1-3 word slogan on the bottom. I am a consulting business for Property & Casualty Insurance and Risk Management, where I evaluate policies, find gaps, help clients through the ambiguities and hardships of insurance policies, map their risks, and do a future projection.
