Design logo and brand book

Job ID: 36070060

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

Hi,

my name Stefan, I'm from The Netherlands. I've just started my own company SoilGecko (Tagline: Creating living soils for healthy plants) and I'm looking for a logo design and brand book. I had three failed orders on Fiverr (they were cancelled by the customer service as the designers used unlicensed stock photos), so I thought to give Freelancer a go.

Target audiences: anyone who wants healthy plants growing on their soils, but mainly farmers, greenhouse growers, plant breeders and nurseries.

Business information: SoilGecko helps people bring life back to their soils by regenerationg the soil food web (SFW) and restoring ecosystems. The SFW consists of microorganisms (like bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes), arthropods, small animals (like moles, mice, frogs, etc.) and birds. A healty SFW creates lots of benefits like nutrient cycling, soil structure, water retention, weed control, carbon sequestration, etc. At SoilGecko we have 3 types of services: soil analysis, consultancy and training. We analyse the soil by running tests and taking soil samples, which we examine under a microscope (to see if anyone is home). Based on the results, we advice our customers to make alterations and/or apply compost amendments. And we train our customers in the theory of the SFW, how it works and how it can be restored or preserved.

I'm imagining a orange colored logo (based on the satanic leaf-tailed gecko (Uroplatus phantasticus), because it has a leaf-shaped tail), combined with green (from plants) and brown (from soil) colors, and perhaps orange lettering for highlights. However, please feel free to let your creativity do it's job. So, if the satanic leaf-tailed gecko or a green/brown/orange color scheme isn't working, feel free to alter anything. The attached files are just examples, please pick colors, fonts, etc. you think work best.

NB: if you are planning on using any unlicensed imagery, please do not respond.

Please let me know if you think you could help me out!

Best regards,
Stefan
