PROJECT BRIEF: LOGO & BRANDING FOR “DATASTRUCT”

Overview:

We are launching a new product called DataStruct, part of our DataWorks product family. We are seeking a bold, professional, and modern visual identity for this new brand—including logo design, color palette, and style guide suggestions.

What is DataStruct?

DataStruct is a structural ceiling system designed specifically for data centres. It provides the backbone for cable management, airflow control, and equipment support—all while maintaining the highest standards of strength, precision, and reliability.

This is a product, not software—but it exists at the intersection of construction, engineering, and technology infrastructure. It is modular, durable, highly engineered, and purpose-built to meet the evolving demands of large-scale, mission-critical environments.

What the Brand Should Communicate:

Strength – Structural integrity, load-bearing capability, physical presence

Reliability – Trusted in high-performance environments (24/7 uptime critical)

Precision – Engineered details, exact tolerances, clean design

Innovation – Progressive product for modern data centres

Industry Relevance – Construction, infrastructure, data centre technology

Visual Identity Direction:

Typography: Strong, modern, industrial-style fonts preferred—sans-serif, clean, no frills

Color Palette: Base color consideration is Azure Blue (symbolizing technology and trust), with complementary tones like dark grey, gunmetal, black, or white for contrast and structure

Logo Style:

Must be versatile (digital, print, engraved, etc.)

Could include a stylized “D” or reference to structure/framework

Should convey physical strength and architectural precision

Needs to sit well next to or under the DataWorks parent branding

Imagery Style (if needed): Modern, technical, minimal

Target Audience:

Architects, engineers, and project managers in the data centre construction and fit-out industry

Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders

Facilities and infrastructure specialists

Deliverables Required:
