Hello! My name is Gina Tocco. I am 20 years old and currently a student at Michigan State University where I am majoring in Elementary Education with a focus on Language Arts. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I began competing when I was 10 years old and fell deeply in love with the art since then. I spent nearly all my dance career at Studio J Dance Company. Over the years, I have had experience in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap, and Ballet. I was also on Varsity High School Dance team where I further incorporated some Pom background.
During my dance career I received many achievement awards including,
?Miss Dance America (July 2019)
?Improv Star Award at DTU camp (July 2018)
? LouAnn Gallant Scholarship
?Hollywood Dance Scholarship Winner from Kenny Wormald at Nuvo in 2019
? Grand National Champions in 2015
I also currently work at a dance studio near Michigan State campus- Kick It Out Dance Studio. Last year I taught recreational classes along with assisting solo classes. This year I am going to be teaching competitive small groups as well as technique classes and also choreographing several solos and duos. 
I dream to pursue choreography and keep dance in my life for as long as possible.?
