Create a logo and branding
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am the founder of Bendy Bodies, LLC and the Bendy Bodies with the Hypermobility MD podcast. I am open to any ideas. Include zebra stripes if possible and a few potential concepts are attached.
Goal: Develop a logo and Brand for Bendy Bodies. Ideally this will encompass color choices, font styles, and the entire feel of the brand.
Current language (definitely open to wordsmithing):
Tagline: Soar and land safely.
Mission statement: Harnessing education and community to empower hypermobile performing artists and athletes.
Vision statement: To improve well being, enhance performance, and optimize career longevity for every bendy body.
About (a rough work in progress): Bendy Bodies empowers the dancer and athlete with effective strategies and accessible, practical knowledge they can actively incorporate into their training in order to reach their fullest potential. Being bendy (ie hypermobile) can contribute to pain and other symptoms negatively impacting performance and quality of life. Earlier detection, education, and treatment may improve outcomes.
Scope of work:
Bimonthly podcast featuring professionals such as physical therapists, neurosurgeons, dance teachers, and more, discussing topics relating to living with hypermobility issues as a high-end artist or athlete.
Social media engagement, including ongoing conversations on IG and Facebook as we build community.
Team Bendy Bodies is growing from Dr. Linda Bluestein and Jennifer Milner to cover more topics and attract more consumers.
Future scope of work:
Website will debut for information dissemination, community engagement, and educational offerings.
Bendy Bodies will offer interactive classes such as livestreams, online discussions, and more.
Community engagement will be a key interest for the website.
Merchandise will be offered, such as t-shirts with insider jokes.
Bendy Bodies feel:
Geared towards the hypermobile artistic athlete, such as dancers, gymnasts, skaters, etc. But hopefully feeling welcoming to people who don’t fit that description but find Bendy Bodies anyway.
Solution-oriented rather than problem-focused. Issues will be discussed, but with a hopeful tone.
Bendy Bodies is not a grocery store, where you go with a list and find what you need. It’s a hip but comforting coffee house, where you walk in and feel like an insider and find your friends in the corner right away. You feel welcome and recognized.
Artistic, but not too feminine. Strength over softness
Modern lines over traditional as far as font, but something with motion in it still.
A black-and-white version of the logo will be helpful for price points on t-shirts, but accent colors will be great as well.
Colors - we’d love to hear thoughts.
