Groom is seeking creative and innovative designers to help us enhance our web and mobile platforms. We're a two-sided SaaS marketplace that connects health and beauty professionals with clients. If you have a passion for design and user experience, and you're eager to make a positive impact on the way people find and book health and beauty services, we encourage you to apply.
**Duration and Hours**
This is intended to be an ongoing work opportunity. Many of Grooms workers have been with us for 12+ months. This position requires 10-25 hours per week, depending on the need of the business.
**Design Challenge**
As part of the application process, we're challenging you to showcase your design skills by reimagining one of the pages on our website, joingroom.com. Your task is to create two distinct versions of the page: one for web and one for mobile.
**Design Criteria**
We're looking for designs that are both visually appealing and user-friendly. Your submissions should adhere to the following criteria:
* **Visual Appeal:** Create a visually engaging and consistent design that aligns with Groom's brand identity.
* **User Experience:** Prioritize user experience by ensuring the designs are intuitive, easy to navigate, and optimized for both web and mobile viewing.
* **Responsiveness:** Ensure that the designs are responsive and adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices.
* **Originality:** Showcase your creativity and originality by bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the page design.
* **Clarity:** Convey the page's purpose and content clearly and effectively.

We will review all submissions carefully and select the most impressive designs. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to further discuss their designs and demonstrate their design skills in an interview.
