Project: Create Brand Guidelines & Asset Library for Electrical Contractor
We are looking for a designer to create a **simple brand guideline and asset library** for our electrical contracting business.
This is **not a full rebrand**. Our vans, clothing and existing materials are already branded, so the goal is to **refine and document the existing branding so it stays consistent going forward.**
Company Name
Oxford Lighting & Electrical Solutions Ltd
Public Brand Name
OLES
Industry
Electrical Contractors
Location
Oxfordshire, United Kingdom
Our business mainly works in:
• Residential electrical work
• Social housing electrical projects
• Property refurbishment and upgrade works
---
Brand Overview
Our branding is centred around the **OLES logo inside a circular graphic**, with the lettering cut out so the vehicle or clothing colour shows through.
This is used across vans, clothing and other materials.
The concept works well and should remain the same. The purpose of this project is simply to **standardise and document it.**
---
Brand Colours
Our preferred colours are:
Primary Colours
Black
White
Secondary Colour
Navy
The logo is adaptive depending on the background colour.
Example:
White van → black circle with cut-out lettering
Black van → white circle with cut-out lettering
Grey clothing → black circle
Black / navy clothing → white circle
The brand guide should document this system clearly.

Important
This project is **not to redesign the brand**, but to refine and document the existing branding so it can be used consistently as the company grows.
---
Please provide examples of similar brand guideline work when applying.
Important Design Constraint
Our vans and clothing already use a circular logo where the lettering is cut out of the circle so the base colour of the vehicle or clothing shows through.
This system must remain unchanged.
The purpose of this project is to refine and document the existing system, not redesign it.
The circle mark with the cut-out “OLES” lettering is already used on our vehicles and clothing and should remain the core of the brand.
Any refinements should maintain compatibility with our existing fleet branding and uniforms.
