Transport 1,500 lb River Rocks
Budget: $40 – $50 USD
I have roughly 1,500 lbs of river rock that needs to be moved about seven miles across town. Both the pickup and drop-off points sit right on the street, so you can back a truck or trailer straight up to the piles—no stairs, narrow gates, or backyard lugging involved.
The job is exactly what it sounds like: the seller will load the rocks into your vehicle, haul them to the new address, and unload them driver way. Because of the weight, I’m picturing a pickup with a sturdy bed, a small dump trailer, or anything equivalent; if you have a skid steer or similar loader, even better, but good old-fashioned muscle and wheelbarrows work too as long as you can handle the load safely in one or two trips.
