Remote Truck Dispatch & Freight VA
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking for a reliable virtual assistant to step in as an entry-level truck dispatcher for my U.S.-based operations. Day to day you’ll be coordinating the full dispatch cycle—finding and securing suitable loads, pairing them with available drivers, tracking each shipment in real time, and keeping both drivers and customers informed until delivery is confirmed.
Because this is an entry-level role, I’m open to dispatching any equipment type; whether the load ends up on a dry van, flatbed, or reefer won’t matter as long as it moves safely and on time. What does matter is that you feel comfortable navigating common load boards (DAT, TruckStop, etc.), understand basic U.S. geography, and can communicate clearly over the phone, email, or chat during U.S. business hours.
Key deliverables I expect from you:
• Loads booked each day with rate, pickup, and delivery details logged in our TMS
• A driver’s route plan shared before each dispatch leaves the yard
• Status updates entered at every key milestone—loaded, in transit, delivered
• Immediate notification of any delays, OS&D issues, or rate changes
If you’re organized, proactive, and eager to learn the logistics trade, I’d like to hear how you can keep my trucks rolling smoothly from behind the screen.
