Remote Freight Dispatcher & Planner

Job ID: 39971334

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need an experienced freight dispatcher who can own the day-to-day flow of my small fleet. Our freight moves are booked almost exclusively through Amazon Relay, so you should be fluent in that portal—from searching and bidding to tender acceptance and BOL upload. Experience with DAT and Truckstop is also important because I occasionally supplement capacity there.

Your core focus areas are:
• Load planning: spot the best lanes, secure them quickly, and map out driver schedules that hit all service windows.
• Driver communication: keep my drivers updated on new assignments, route changes, and any issues that pop up while they’re on the road. Clear, quick Slack or WhatsApp messages and the occasional phone call are expected.
• Tracking & PO management: monitor every active load, update Amazon Relay or the broker with real-time location pings, and maintain accurate POD/PO files in a simple Excel sheet I’ll share on OneDrive.

Key tools in play are Amazon Relay (primary), DAT, Truckstop, Excel, plus whatever GPS or ELD visibility app the driver is running. Daily dispatch notes and an end-of-day Excel recap will act as the acceptance criteria: if every load shows an on-time status, the driver notes are complete, and the spreadsheet matches actual movement, the shift is a success.

You’re welcome to work remotely in any time zone as long as pickups and deliveries in the U.S. stay covered. Let me know your typical dispatch hours and a brief rundown of similar fleets you’ve managed so I can get you logged in and moving freight right away.
