I’m ready to launch a gifts-and-souvenirs wholesale operation here in New York City and I need an experienced guide to shorten the learning curve. I already have relationships with several retail stores eager to carry my line; what I’m missing is a practical roadmap for building the distribution backbone that lets me serve them—and future accounts—efficiently.
Your coaching will centre on setting up distribution channels: advice on the most suitable logistics partners for small-to-mid-sized gift SKUs, warehouse or 3PL comparisons inside the five boroughs, and recommendations on order-management software (SkuVault, Fishbowl, or similar). I’ll also lean on you for introductions to reliable truckers or courier services that understand the tight delivery windows many NYC retailers impose.
Beyond pure logistics, I’m looking for clarity on any New York wholesale permits or resale certificates I must file, the best way to structure pricing tiers, and tips on negotiating MOQs with suppliers once the channels are in place.
