Move 54 Logs Plumas-Lassen
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have 54 dead-standing logs waiting in Plumas County that need to be hauled to my property in Lassen County. Roughly two-thirds of them are 24 ft long and the rest are 20 ft. Because they’ve been down for about three years they’re noticeably lighter than fresh timber; butt diameters average 12–15″ and tips run 8–10″.
Both the pickup site and the drop-off site are reached by maintained gravel roads. A self-loading log truck is my first choice so the job can be handled end-to-end without extra equipment, but if necessary I can assist with loading and unloading using my tractor on site.
Timing is flexible—weekdays, weekends, or split loads all work for me—so we can schedule around your existing route. What matters most is that the logs arrive in good condition and are neatly decked where I designate.
