Mail Dispatch & Printing Clerk
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I need a dependable clerk to take full ownership of our business mail flow—from the moment it arrives or is generated in-house to the moment it leaves the building. Your core mission is to keep incoming and outgoing mail moving smoothly while handling all print-related steps that precede dispatch.
Here’s what the role looks like day to day: you’ll receive digital files, print letters, labels, or envelopes, prepare each piece, and hand it off to USPS, FedEx, DHL, or the assigned courier before close of business. At the same time, you’ll sign for and sort all incoming items, making sure the right package or letter reaches the right teammate without delay.
Because print accuracy is critical, you should already be comfortable with standard office printers and postage systems such as Stamps.com or Pitney Bowes meters. Clear communication is equally important; I rely on a quick message confirming that the day’s mail has been printed, sealed, and dispatched.
Deliverables
• All outgoing pieces printed, prepared, and lodged on the agreed daily schedule
• Incoming mail received and physically routed to the correct department the same day
• Brief end-of-day confirmation noting the number of items dispatched and any issues that arose
If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and understand the rhythm of a busy mail room, I’d love to hear how you can help keep our correspondence running on time.
The position is open to United States residents only.
