Comprehensive Logistics Project Management

Job ID: 40618301

Budget: £250 – £500 GBP

* Technical assessment: Reviews cargo dimensions, weight, value, packing, lifting points, site access, deadlines and documentation; identifies missing or unreliable information before Aegis quotes anything.
* Transport design: Chooses the correct method—container, flat-rack, Ro-Ro, breakbulk, air freight or specialist road transport—and plans packing, cranes, permits, escorts, routing and final delivery.
* Costing and supplier control: Obtains and checks rates from carriers, hauliers, packers, crane companies, customs brokers and overseas agents; builds the complete project cost with contingencies and additional-charge risks.
* Risk protection: Identifies customs, insurance, liability, operational and financial risks; writes assumptions and exclusions; rejects unsafe, impossible or unprofitable commitments.
* Project execution: Once booked, coordinates technical suppliers, monitors each milestone, solves operational problems and ensures the cargo is moved according to the approved plan.
* Role within Aegis: You find the customer, negotiate the deal and manage the commercial relationship. The freelancer turns the requirement into a technically sound, properly priced and executable freight project.
