I’m mapping out an extended journey that will take me through eight or more destinations across the length and breadth of India. What I need from you is a complete travel itinerary—day-by-day and city-to-city—so I can simply follow the plan without second-guessing routes, timing, or logistics.
Here’s what the finished work should cover:
• A logical sequence of destinations that minimises back-tracking while still showcasing the country’s incredible geographic and cultural diversity.
• Recommended transport options for each leg (flight, train, car, or a mix), including realistic travel durations and ideal departure times.
• Daily activity suggestions: must-see landmarks, neighbourhood walks, local food stops, festivals or seasonal highlights, and any insider tips that help me avoid tourist bottlenecks.
• Accommodation guidance for each stop with at least two graded options (mid-range and upgraded) so I can choose on the fly.
• A concise budget summary per destination that breaks down transport, lodging, and activity costs, giving me a clear idea of total spend.
• Google Maps links or similar to visualise the route and distances.
