PLASTIC BOTTLE COLLECTION FROM BANGALURU ZEPTO STORE
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
There are around 28 Zepto dark stores(Offline stores) in Bangaluru. All these stores have a collection bin for collecting plastic bottles of Coke/pepsi and other brands. The collection bin capacity is around 20kgs.
Process:
So Zepto rider goes to customers for a delivery then he gets empty PET bottles from them and the rider takes them back to the zepto store and he puts the bottle in the collection bin. When the bin is about to get full we will get a trigger from the store and we have to get it collected from a nearby scrap dealer and note down the collection date and weight of the collected bottles.
SOP's for us:
1) Visit the zepto stores through the list provided by us.
2) Locate at least two scrap dealers in the local market near the Store.
3) Find out the rate per kg offered for a fresh post-consumer Plastic PET bottle and finalize the rate.
4) Take the scrap dealer's contact details and his shop address.
5) Explain to him about the timely collection of bottles from the store. Inform him that the bottle should be
collected within the timeline (24 hours), otherwise, we will cancel the deal.
6) Share your phone no. with him and tell him that you would be his single point of contact from our
company (RACE).
7) The scrap dealer should carry the I-card which we will provide while going to Zepto store to collect the PET
Bottles.
8) Collect the money from scrap dealer for the bottles and transfer it to our company.
9) Inform us of the weight of collected bottles and the collection date.
