Home Security Camera Study (Boston)
Budget: $350 – $500 USD
We are running a test that captures certain body movements. You will be given specific scenarios to act out which will be captured by a temporary device (camera). There will be three different devices:
- outdoor security camera
- indoor camera
- video doorbell / intercom
The equipment will go up in the morning, remain in place through sunset so we can capture daylight and LED-infrared footage. These equipment will be removed before the team leaves the same evening.
More details on the study:
- Each short scenario: 30 seconds in average (range in 15s - 50s)
- Each long scenario: 1 hour
- Participants will be selected based on various age groups, genders, ethnicity, home location, skin tones, etc., we ask you to self-report this information.
- Lighting Conditions: 20% of the scenarios need to be recorded at night with the infrared LED mode enabled on the cameras.
The job pays $500 USD (8 hour recording) and $350 (6-hour recording).
