Principal AI Engineer for GenAI Systems

Role Summary
We are seeking a Principal AI Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI, and Agentic AI systems to lead the design and delivery of scalable, production-grade AI systems. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, architectural ownership, and mentorship in highly ambiguous environments.
Primary (Required) Skills
AI / ML Leadership: 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant senior-level ownership in Generative AI systems, particularly NLP and LLM-based solutions.
Generative AI: Hands-on experience building GenAI solutions, including prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and model adaptation/fine-tuning.
Agentic AI: Proven experience designing and building agentic, multi-agent systems that can perform reasoning and planning using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar.
Programming & ML Foundations: Strong Python expertise with hands-on experience in AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
Model & Platform Versatility: Experience working with open-source LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral) and proprietary platforms/APIs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI).
Cloud AI Platforms: Experience with AI/ML services on any major cloud platform (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Azure ML).
Preferred Skills
Cloud-Native Systems: Experience building scalable systems using Docker, serverless, and managed cloud services.
API & Backend Engineering: Experience in API design, development, and lifecycle management.
Data & Persistence: Working knowledge of SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) databases.
Technical Leadership: Experience mentoring engineers, reviewing complex designs, and operating in agile, fast-changing environments.
