Protection orders made permanent, watertight. Domestic Violence / GBH / Attempted Murder

I was assaulted by my stepfather and injured rather severely, and eventually I couldn't even stand up to defend myself anymore. He broke my nose, burst eardrum, broke a cheek and forcefully banged two teeth out of my bottom jaw by hitting me in the face with his head when I tried to defend myself and grabbed both his arms. I have opened a case of domestic violence, but I was never advised to get a J88 and lodge a case of assault or GBH as he was screaming that he was going to kill me and left me pretty much near dead. I lost consciousness for 3 days and when I woke I looked like hell. At the time I did not have medical insurance and was turned away by a public hospital to obtain assessment for completion of J88 to include in docket. He also made false statements to his insurance company regarding R1.2m worth of damage to property whilst he was under the influence and the only person admittedly on the property at the time. I have several statements of the police that left without arresting him or even warning him, when they found him with his hands covered in my blood and pools of it all over the house, mostly in kitchen and lounge. He has demanded that I get out of the house because the "next time he will really kill me" - but I am unable to work and earn an income because ALL my systems were destroyed, for which a successful case of malicious damage was opened with the SAPS also. I am fearing for my life and my mother, a pensioner begged of me to find a place to stay urgently and she will cover the costs, but I find this unfair, because he verbally, emotionally and psychologically abuses and manipulates her to the point where she is in tears. She is afraid of losing everything when she divorces him, although he doesn't contribute to the household expenses really. I would need a specialist family law attorney that can lodge a protection order on my behalf and make it watertight, along with my detailed statement, and seek judgement for him to pay my reasonable costs of alternative accomodation and living expenses until the civil suit is finalised and/or insurance claims have been finalised and I may continue working. I am an IT Infrastructure Architect and Business Intelligence Analyst, so my hardware that was destroyed was very highly spec'd for the applications I use to provide services to my clients, ranging from Large International Corporations to Local IT concerns and everything inbetween. My company has suffered losses and had to retrench several staff members as I obtain the main income generating skillset and qualifications in the company, and for 5 months now, I have been unable to deliver on proposals and deliverables committed to to clients from Canada and the UK. The average loss of one contract only was GBP 45,000 and had a serious knock-on effect. I am for all intents and purposes now unemployed and cannot move out even if I wanted to, and I don't think it is fair, that my mother who is also a victim of his abuse, is willing to sacrifice her entire pension to fund my needs just to keep me safe from him. I need advice on what criminal charges to level against him and I need expert assistance in ensuring protection orders are finetuned and impossible for this alcoholic abuse person to refrain from any further kind of abuse, be it verbal, physical or psychological and the manipulation of his wife, my mother, into doing things she does not want to do or normally would not agree to if not intimidated by him.
