Preferred Linux Distribution:
- I prefer using Ubuntu for these tasks.
Timeline:
- I need the tasks to be completed within 24 hours.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience with IP tables and Mod security.
- Proficiency in Ubuntu Linux distribution.
- Ability to quickly create and maintain custom rules.
- Troubleshooting and optimization skills to ensure efficient performance.

1. Our objective is to separate internal assets from our external assets, which the external users or VPN client should only be able to access our private assets including public assets through connecting to VPM.
2. Right now we have 2 websites that are externally and internally accessible, we want only our public facing website be accessible to external users. And once the connect through jump-box to VPN server, then should be able to access our public and private assets.
3. Mod security and Suricata are already installed and running in our R2 which is our gateway router. The only thing we need to do is to separate our internal and external assets. As mentioned, the VPN and Jump-box connection needs to be fix for external clients or VPN client as mentioned above.
