owncloud issue "PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR"

Hello there, I need some assistance configuring my owncloud server to be reachable via HTTPS. The configuration is finished and owncloud is reachable via local IP, but whenever accessed from the web, browser delivers SSL error / PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. There's some apache / owncloud SSL miss-configuration and I need assistance resolving this problem. Please only contact me if you know what you're doing. I don't want insecure workaround solutions.
