mysql connection issue after restart
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
After restarting apache and mysql service I am no longer able to connect to any database or phpmyadmin.
Trying to reset mysql root password and I receive the following error:
Updated the password for the active MySQL profile.
MySQL password change failed!!
A forced reset will now be attempted.
Attempting MySQL Root Password Reset
The MySQL root password was reset.
Applications using MySQL will now be updated.
Updating “DBcache” configuration … Failed …
The subprocess reported error number 255 when it ended.Done
Updating “Eximstats” configuration … updateeximstats: database schema is up to date.
Success …Done
Updating “Roundcube” configuration … Failed …
The subprocess reported error number 255 when it ended.Done
Updating “phpMyAdmin” configuration … Success …Done
You have successfully changed “root”’s MySQL password.
My server /DB configuration is:
Centos 6.10
cPanel version 76.0.7
Database:
Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
Server type: MySQL
Server version: 5.5.61-cll - MySQL Community Server (GPL)
Protocol version: 10
User: root@localhost
Server charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
I need an experienced server admin to assist in resetting the mysql root pass so I can connect to mysql.
Please do not make any changes to the databases, or make any upgrades. I only need the credentials sorted so I can connect.
I can provide WHM and root access, but I will need your IP to add to our firewall.
Thank you
