3 linux tasks with no remote access
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I am looking for a freelancer who can assist me with three specific Linux tasks that require troubleshooting and debugging. I have detailed descriptions of the issues that need to be addressed. The deadline for completing these tasks is within 24 hours.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging Linux issues
- Familiarity with error logs and interpreting detailed descriptions of issues
- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
Tasks:
1: reach into grub/recovery mode (this step is ok holding Shift at boot) and fix broken packages from there, to make sure the system is up to date (grub has no network, only the LiveUSB (maybe chroot?)) and get into the Desktop with fail safe graphics?
2: logout to gdm to pick Xorg to boot in?
3: doublecheck which graphics drivers are loaded, nouveau vs nvidia?
