IT infratsructure - Secure local/remote work SETUP
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
We are a small team, with some external consultant (10-15 engineers now).
We would need support and suggestions on how to setup our IT infrastructure to support the following:
1. we want our engineers and external collaborators to work in a safe environment where source code is protected (they all have to connect to a server, with file trasnfer and copy disabled). Internet shall be disabled except what strictly needed for connection
2. we are evaluating if using on premise machines or cloud virtual machines (or on premise virtual machines)
3. we would like to have a sort of template for a computer (or VM) with software preinstalled, that we share with all engineers (internal or external). we simply duplicate it (in the sense of VM)
4. there can be some link to external sites or machines, like our backup or Git server
5. both Linux and Windows machines will be needed.
6. we already have servers and PC on premise, we do not have any could service at the moment (like Azure or AWS), a cost comparison shall be needed.
7. backup and other basic services are needed.
8. Active directory?
9. what we want is a procedure for the setup and the maintanance (e.g. adding new users) and some support for the setup
we will only evaluate concrete proposal, so in your presentation message please indicate also what you are proposing (a draft of course., the basic idea), or make questions if needed. actually a IT expert with available solutions that will share previous experience is probably the best fit here
