In-house E-mail Server
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
It is required to set up a private e-mail server for sending and receiving e-mails. For this purpose a droplet in DigitalOcean will be provided to the interested party for its development.
What is requested?
- To be able to create free unlimited email accounts using a specific domain, through an API type service.
- Enable an API type service to send emails via SMTP, which returns a response in JSON format.
- To be able to query the status of an email passed by parameter, where the statuses can be [Delivered, Bounce]. These are the two main statuses that you want to measure, if necessary, you can add others.
- Do not use paid API's
- Ensure processing of multiple requests in parallel (asynchronous scheduling is suggested)
- The applicant must develop a solution to avoid blocking the sending of emails to a specific domain (it’s Ok if the email is categorized as a Spam in the receiver’s inbox). Some ideas to develop could be:
o Running the mailing service on AWS lambda
o Force IP change on the server
o To have a domain pull for mailing.
