help with Linux sys admin we just need to allow FileInfo but do not have cloud linux

We require FileInfo extension for FFMPEG enabled and we have spent a long time researching online. And most solutions require cloud Linux with an easy SELECT PHP option in cpanel which our cPanel DOES NOT HAVE.
We have also added the following code to our php.ini file and it does not work.
We are stuck, we do not feel comfortable giving our server access but we have cpanel or whm.
We just need to know how we do it. I know its a basic task. We will pay $10 for this no more.
