drbd tutorial for 5 nodes cluster, on debian 11
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
* please read and double check the project details before bidding *
Hi I'm looking to use DRBD similarly to Ceph
(distributed block device over a fast, local network)
and so I'm asking you to venture into the documentation / tutorials
and try by yourself to create such cluster in your lab.
The cluster must be fault tolerant and prevent / handle split-brain.
I want to be able to access / recover the data from the drive
even if the cluster goes down.
5 nodes, each node with 2 drives.
The requirement is to provide me a step-by-step tutorial
(with clearly indicating on which node to run the command)
in a .txt file.
I have experience with Ceph
but not with DRBD
so you should also explain me about the various options like replicas and other components
in order to have a decently stable cluster.
Let me be more clear: I'm asking you to dedicate a couple of days to this project
to study and try it on your own, in your lab.
Do NOT copy paste some tutorial and/or chatgpt ..
Max 100 euros.
Deadline is one week.
