cPanel / AutoSSL renewal problem fix
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
We're looking for a saavy Linux/cPanel/WHM system administrator that can help us resolve some AutoSSL certificagte renewal problems we're having with the default Sectigo renewal services (fails for some domains).
Bellow is an example of the log results for one of these failing domains:
--------
Log for the AutoSSL run for “XYZ”: Tuesday, March 15, 2022 7:42:12 AM GMT-0400 (cPanel (powered by Sectigo))
7:42:12 AM AutoSSL’s configured provider is “cPanel (powered by Sectigo)”.
This AutoSSL provider does not poll for certificate availability immediately after a certificate request submission. Instead, it submits certificate requests then periodically polls the cPanel Store for each requested certificate and installs it after a successful retrieval. The system will record all requests, retrievals, and installations for the current AutoSSL run in this log.
Analyzing “XYZ”’s domains …
7:42:12 AM Analyzing “XYZ” (website) …
7:42:12 AM ERROR TLS Status: Defective
7:42:13 AM ERROR Certificate expiry: 3/13/22, 11:23 AM UTC (2.01 days ago)
ERROR Defect: OPENSSL_VERIFY: The certificate chain failed OpenSSL’s verification (0:10:CERT_HAS_EXPIRED).
Impediment: CERTIFICATE_IS_EXTERNALLY_SIGNED: The certificate is neither self-signed nor from AutoSSL.
7:42:13 AM SUCCESS This user’s SSL coverage is already optimal.
