build an amazon lex chatbot for native ecommerce website
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
We're an ecommerce company currently using Amazon Connect phone system for customer service. We would like help setting up an Amazon Lex Chatbot. It should work like the Amazon support chatbot (https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/). We would like to get your help in: 1. Setting up the menu dialog of the chatbot 2. Setting up hooks to our back end API. Note that we already have the back end API and are not looking for you to develop any of it for us. We just need to set up the connection in Amazon Lex. 3. Connect Lex to Amazon Connect so that agents can also chat with customers. 4. Set up Amazon Lex so that it can be served up on our website.

Initial Greeting:
Hello. I’m the virtual assistant. Please let me know what I can help you with:
Help with an order
Question about a product
Question about our policy
Chat with a representative
Help with an order then has these options
Track an order
Request cancellation
Start a return

Question about a product should ask
Do you have a question about the {current product page the customer is on} if the customer is on a product page
If customer responds No, or customer is not on the product page, then ask “What product do you have a question about”
This should lead to a search for products using the search like https://www.roycefurniture.com/search (enter a search string) and return images and product’s brand and product name
Customer should choose a product
Then customer can ask a question like on a sample product page’s Ask a Question about this product button. Customer can enter their question, then an email for a response.
Question about our policy should be like the “Search Help” button on https://www.roycefurniture.com/service-request where customer can enter their question, and display responses.
Chat with a representative should start a chat session with a representative, or if no representative is available, ask the customer to enter their request and an email, and we will email them back.
Other requirements:
Look and feel should be similar to the website
All chats should be sent via API to our website for archiving
We will handle the back end so you can access our functionality through an API from your chatbot.

We have different EC2 instances, all Linux based. The website is based on an open source ERP system we developed called opentaps and runs on Java. We use EC2 instances to run automated tests for it. The primary instance is at a colo facility in LA. We have some other ec2 instances to run other websites, like opentaps.org and opensourcestrategies.com, which are on word press, and software related to them.
