Linux VPS Server Administrator — AlmaLinux 9 / cPanel / Nginx Configuration + Ongoing Security Retainer

Project Overview:
We have a newly provisioned Contabo Cloud VPS 40 NVMe (Sydney, Australia) running AlmaLinux 9 with cPanel that requires professional server configuration and ongoing managed security. We are looking for an experienced Linux server administrator — not a WordPress developer — to configure the server environment and provide ongoing monthly management.
Component 1 — One-Off Server Configuration
Configure Nginx + PHP-FPM + Redis on AlmaLinux 9 / cPanel
Configure cPanel for hosting three WordPress websites
Set up and configure Cloudflare DNS/CDN/WAF for all three domains
Configure Google Cloud Storage buckets for media offload
Harden server security post-installation
Verify Contabo AutoBackup is correctly configured and operational
UptimeRobot monitoring is already in place — confirm integration
Post-configuration testing and sign-off
Hand over documented server configuration notes
Component 2 — Ongoing Monthly Managed Security Retainer
Following configuration, we require ongoing monthly server management covering:
Weekly security and vulnerability patching
Weekly backup validation checks
Monthly backup integrity testing
Immediate response to any critical security incident
Proactive security monitoring

Requirements:
Demonstrated Linux server administration experience — please provide verifiable examples
Strong hands-on experience with AlmaLinux 9 or CentOS
Nginx + PHP-FPM + Redis configuration experience
Cloudflare configuration experience
Security hardening and vulnerability patching experience
Available during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours for coordination
Clear written English communication
WordPress developers without server administration experience need not apply
