Wget bash shell script
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I'm looking for a bash shell script that can move web functionality and content from two employee websites and save them into their respective local folders on a corporate site.
The idea is to later execute the shell script as a cron job and regularly transfer any changes from the employee sites, to the corporate site.
The shell script should be able to work on a ubuntu linux server using native tools such as wget.
Once transferred, the two websites should work locally just like the originals including all original functionality and images - but serving from the main corporate site.
I have permission to work with both sites and no intellectual property rights are being violated.
I already made a few basic attempts with wget but haven't been able to get the results right. The solution may require some additional post-processing with tools other than wget.
Ask me for the URLs to the two websites.
If you show me copies of the two websites on your local server, they work like originals, and confirm that only native tools are used in the solution, then I will hire you. I can review, accept, and pay within 1 day.
