Web Application Monitoring set up
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Propose, select and implement tools for monitoring and backing up a web application.
The app consists of 3 servers: App (Django on Docker swarm), Database (Postgres), Redis
1. backup: set up automated backups according to policy (daily with weekly/monthly rotation) and saving to external storage (S3 compatible). Barman proposed as tool
2. resources/connectivity monitoring for each server and between the servers: hard disk space, RAM, connectivity from app to DB etc
3. Point in Time Recovery using Postgres WAL (target RPO=0)
4. Disaster recovery guidelines (short documentation of how to conduct)
5. Practice run(s) to be conducted with our team before handoff
If set up can be done via Ansible, your bid will be given priority
