I am looking for a freelancer who can assist me with configuring VPN split tunneling on my Ubuntu 20.04 system. Specifically, I have an existing VPN setup and would like to implement selective application-based split tunneling.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Ubuntu 20.04 system administration
- Expertise in VPN split tunneling configuration
- Familiarity with bash scripting languages
- Ability to provide guidance or creating script for automated split tunneling
The project will require the following:
- Review of existing VPN setup on Ubuntu 20.04 system
- Implementation of selective application-based split tunneling
- Guidance or creating script for automated split tunneling, if necessary
If you have experience with VPN split tunneling and are proficient in Ubuntu 20.04 system administration, please reach out to me with your proposal.
Using VPN on Ubuntu 20.04 server.(NordVPN)
The problem is that when I start the VPN, I can't connect to the server via: SSH, FTP, HTTP....
Only emergency VNC access works, but it is insecure and limited in functionality, so its constant use is not suitable.
I need:
-configure VPN routes so that only traffic for programs launched from a specific directory goes through VPN.
And all other traffic went directly through the static IP of the server.
OR
-configure VPN routes so that only the traffic of processes launched by a specific user goes through VPN.
And all other traffic went directly through the static IP of the server.
In the end, I need detailed instructions and/or a bash script so that I can transfer this setting to other servers.
