VPN and Reverse Proxy for Web API

I'm in need of a proficient individual with expertise in VPN design and configuration, specifically OpenVPN on Linux. This project involves setting up a scalable VPN and configuring a reverse proxy to provide external access to web API and WebSocket services within the VPN.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge in VPN design and configuration, primarily using OpenVPN on the Linux OS.
- Prior experience in setting up reverse proxies for web services (NGINX).
- Understanding of access control mechanisms in a networking setup.
The reverse proxy's primary purpose is to enable external access to services for content delivery purposes. Hence, the ideal candidate needs to implement an access control mechanism for the services exposed through the reverse proxy.
Access Control Requirement:
- User-based access control: Access to the services should be restricted based on the user's identity.
