Description:

We are facing critical network issues in our corporate environment which have started occurring randomly over the past week. The problem is causing brief disconnections across the network impacting our WiFi and RDP connections severely, making them barely usable. Our technology stack comprises 24 UniFi switches, an Untangle Firewall, Extreme Networks WiFi access points, and operates over 7 VLANs.

Tasks:

- Diagnose the root cause of the network disconnections and instability.
- Inspect and troubleshoot Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) configurations across the UniFi switches.
- Review VLAN configurations and ensure they are correctly set up.
- Recommend and implement solutions to resolve the network instability.
- Provide a clear communication channel for real-time updates on the troubleshooting process.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in network troubleshooting, especially in environments with UniFi switches, Untangle Firewalls, and Extreme Networks WiFi access points.
