Update SSL certificate on Amazon server

I need someone that can help me with getting my SSL certificate updated.
I don't think this will take very long and I have FTP and command-line access to the server.
I just need someone to look on and help me decipher the update instructions and the stopping of the tomcat web server in order to complete the installation.
I can pay $2 for an hour or for a resolution, whichever is higher.
