Ubuntu Server 22.04 File Permission Fix
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I've successfully configured an Ubuntu Server 22.04 for my LAN users, including the installation of Apache2 and PhpMyAdmin, both of which are up and running smoothly.
Only one issue remains unresolved. I'm using a script for unzipping files, which successfully unzips them with default ownership (www-data) and permissions (755 for folders and 644 for files). However, attempting to modify any file or folder using FTP results in a permission issue. Here are the relevant screenshots:
Script for unzipping files: https://nimb.ws/uSF2zJ
FTP permission issue: https://nimb.ws/Z0xpVR
I plan to connect to the Ubuntu Server via SSH from my PC and will share my PC access using AnyDesk.
Thank you,
