Tweak a Linux GUI app
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a skilled freelancer who can help me tweak a Linux GUI app. This is an existing open source email client app on Github. Its GUI has a 3-column structure. I want to add a small feature to allow the widths of the columns to be adjustable.
Timeline:
- I would like the changes to be implemented within a month.
- The freelancer should be able to manage their time effectively and provide regular updates on the progress of the project.
Steps:
- The freelancer needs to firstly build the existing app and make it run under Arch Linux.
- Then you need to understand the source codes
- Program the new feature.
Skills and Experience:
- The app is programmed in Vala. If you have experience in programming C or C#, you should be able to use Vala.
- I want the app to run under Arch Linux. You need to be able to use Linux and program Linux.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to create visually appealing interfaces is a plus.
- Use git to manage source codes versioning.
