Troubleshoot Kubernetes + FluxCD ImageUpdateAutomation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need help resolving an issue with my Kubernetes setup and FluxCD ImageUpdateAutomation.
I've configured everything with FluxCD, including Image Automation, but I'm having a problem with ImageUpdateAutomation. Here's the situation:
- FluxCD is successfully detecting new Docker images via ImagePolicy.
- However, ImageUpdateAutomation isn't applying the necessary changes to the yaml manifest, preventing Kubernetes from automatically updating to the new image version.
I need an expert to either configure or repair this final stage of ImageUpdateAutomation so that changes from ImagePolicy are reflected in my Deployment yaml manifest.
Important details:
- My Kubernetes manifests are stored in GitLab.
- I've confirmed that FluxCD has the necessary permissions to push changes to the repository.
- If I modify the manifests manually from Git, Kubernetes takes the changes normally.
Ideal skills for this job include:
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and FluxCD
- Strong troubleshooting skills
