Setup Jenkins on remote server with NGinx reverse proxy for remote SSH scripts to start/stop service using remote shell
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We currently have and app that utilizes SSH connections using Node.js as webservice to execute calls on server backend. The limitiations of ssh over node is that only 1 cmd can be sent per connection which creates huge delays in information transmission and a horrible UE. There are also issues when trying to use private/public key pairs when setting up non-basic authentication. (Keys are not working when created due to permissions issues.)
I would like to implement Jenkins on the backend using a reverse proxy Nginx to SSL cert secure it. I would like to use key pair authentication in Jenkins to secure the server-custom Java client connection. I would like to use Jenkins remote shell function to execute CLI on ubuntu to start/stop services on the local server by way of ssh connections initiated by the assigned client app.
A video describing how to use Jenkins in this way is found here (it is not very thorough though):

This will not be a one-time setup. The steps that you create to setup Jenkins/properly install NGinx/ create key pairs/ and set up build functions have to be reproducible since this process will be installed individually on hundreds of machines as part of a setup process for use on servers.
Also, you will be working with my current front end developer for implementation of remote connectivity in the app and discussing where and how to store the public key for remote access in app. A short ( 10-15 minutes ) meeting will need to be had before funding project to get a full scope of the skills that are needed to implement this service in the backend of my app development and speak with my development team.
