Server Migration from Shared to VPS

I need help with transferring a cPanel backup from my shared server to my VPS server. Both are hosted on HostGator.com. The migration will involve prioritizing 4-6 specific websites, however the majority of my sites are standard and do not have special configurations or custom scripts.
