Senior Linux and Windows Server Administrator

Work type - 4 to 8 hours
Assess Customer data center infrastructure and computer environment.
 Experience in rebuilding and/or restoring Linux Server(s) and/or Windows Server from
an existing backup or from DR. If no backup is available, server will be built from scratch.
 Knowledge in Infrastructure of server farm (VM’s) and Active Directory
 Reestablish connections with VM’s and VM migrations, Cluster load balancing
 Leverage automation for repetitive tasks with use of scripting tools
 Interface with L4 support team for infrastructure design and integration
 Perform Pre and Post Server maintenance check and cleanup of remnants from old
systems (Decommission)
 Trouble-shoot and recovery of Linux and Windows servers and user connectivity, SMS
and applications integrated to the sever
Qualifications:
 8 to 10 Years of IT experience with significant technical and operational experience
 In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server and datacenter
infrastructure
 Very good understanding of High Availability or VM’s
 Knowledge and expertise in VMWare and Hyper-V in both Prem and Cloud
 Expert in Vcenter, VMWare management tools
 Experience in Power Shell, Python and other administration scripting tools
 Experience in Large complex and/or global environment
 Effective written and verbal communication skills
 Effective analytic and diagnostic skills
