Secure WebSocket Connection Configuration
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm looking for an experienced developer who can effectively enable a secure WebSocket connection (wss://) on my Windows Server 2019. I've currently managed to establish an unsecure connection (ws://). The goal here is real-time data communication.
Key components you'll work on:
- Configuring the existing WebSocket server to allow for a secure, stable connection using 'wss://'
- Ideally, I already have an SSL certificate installed on the server which you can use for this task
- I don't have any specific libraries in mind for this project. Consequently, feel free to use a library you're comfortable with and one that will efficiently accomplish this task
Skills & Experience:
- Deep understanding of WebSockets and their secure configuration
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2019
- Experience with managing SSL certificates
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Efficient communication skills to explain the configured setup for my future reference.
