Project Overview
The project scope is to build a custom VM Package using the latest Centos Stream Version 8, Minimum Install with Graphical Network Tools. The script shall be required to prompt the user provide key inputs that will customize the VM and then update all relevant packages.
During installation the VM build script shall complete the following steps:
1. Prompt user to input configuration information:
a. User Name: This shall be added to the Hostname + (static field+RamdomID)
b. Static IP, DNS and Gateway. No DHCP.
2. Auto-Update all packages.
3. Install all Prerequisites and packages. The packages to be included shall be defined during the development process.
4. Download software from our server to enable remote control of the VM.
5. Complete health check to ensure all packages are installed and running.
Overall Requirements
• Installation utility shall be branded with custom logo and company name.
• Script will need to work with HyberV, VMWare, Virtual Box and other major vendors.
• The developer will need to provide sufficient documentation to enable future updates and modifications.
Schedule and Payment
The project shall be paid in phases based on the following schedule:
